We are the largest Police Organization in the state, representing over 45,000 police and law enforcement officers from over 60 law enforcement agencies including:

Local Police Officers, NYPD Detectives, NYPD Captains, Lieutenants and Sergeants, Deputy Sheriffs, County Detectives Port Authority Police, New York State Park Police, County Police, Federal Law Enforcement, New York State Troopers

The New York State Association of P.B.A.'s is headquartered in Albany. This enables us to maintain a strong presence in our State Capitol and gives us more direct line with the policy makers in Washington, D.C. Proposals including longer sentences for criminal offenders, stiffer penalties for killing a police officer, and increased death benefits for the widows and families who are left behind when one of our truly brave officers is killed in the line of duty are just some of the issues we are continually fighting to improve.
